Large tubers in 3.5 inch pots - sprouted, but not above the surface yet.
Coveted and easy to grow species with 8 inch leaves at maturity. I grow this in the same conditions as the Habenarias - it shares the same dry dormant period - but blooms before the leaves emerge in the spring.
If you have tried to grow other species of Nervilia or tried to start with a tiny tuber without success - you are not alone! I've been growing this particular cultivar for years and can confidently say if you can grow Habenaria, you can grow this!
Be sure to give it space in the pot for new tubers to develop, otherwise the rhizomes will sneak out of the drainage holes...
